1. Create a circuit training workout at home. A great way to burn more calories and boost your fat burning metabolism is by using a circuit style workout.

Start by warming up your body with a few minutes of aerobic exercise such as marching in place or climbing stairs for a few minutes and then switch to a couple of strength exercises such as body weight squats and push-up. By alternating back and forth between these types of exercise you get a great workout for your entire body.

2. Make your eating simple. Your basic meal should consist of protein, vegetables and a high-fiber carbohydrate. When you have these elements on your plate you know you are eating a healthy meal.

3. Eat a salad or your vegetable choice first at meal time. By filling up your stomach with vegetables you can reduce your overall calorie intake for the meal by 20% according to research.

4. To get faster weight loss results eliminate the carbohydrate from your evening meal and before bedtime. You can accelerate your loss by not eating a carb a dinner. Carbohydrates cause a surge of insulin to enter your system and when insulin levels are high your body turns more of the foods you eat to body fat and burns less fat.
