Fat Burning Foods to Add to Your Everyday Diet
By Frank Dean Miller

A common misconception about weight loss is that eating more food will cause a person to gain unnecessary fat stores in the body. While this is true of many varieties of foods that are carbohydrate based, it is not true of all food groups. Eggs, low fat dairy products, oatmeal, and an assortment of beans are all examples of types of sustenance that are classified as fat burning foods.

Eggs are the first type of fat burning food that can be found in any supermarket or corner convenience store.

Remember not to add fatty foods to the eggs and enjoy them by themselves. Unfortunately, this means that your favorite egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is out of the questions. Fortunately, eggs taste great without any supplemental toppings and can become a great way to lose weight while still eating well.

Other low fat dairy products are also great examples of foods that burn off excess fat storages in the human body. Examples of these items include low fat milk, leaner butters, and non-fat yogurt. Not only will these items help burn fat much more quickly, but they can also serve as an excellent way of adding calcium to the body. This promotes stronger bones, which can help fight osteoporosis later on in life.

Oatmeal is a great warm meal that can be substituted during breakfast and lunch meals to give the body the nutrition it needs while burning fat cells. Oatmeal, in conjunction with fat burning properties, also is high in fiber and lowers cholesterol, which are both fundamental in weight loss. If oatmeal must be sweetened to be enjoyable, add fresh fruits or honey to a bowl to give it added, healthy flavor.

Finally, beans are a great addition to meals at dinner or supper time. There are a few bean varieties that include kidney beans, lima beans, navy beans, and white beans that all act as fat burning foods while still having other nutritional benefits. Other types of beans are processed in fat and sugar and are not as healthy, so when trying to lose weight, eat these varieties to promote a healthier lifestyle.

Fat burning foods that can help a body burn off excess fat storage cells in the body are healthy beans, eggs, oatmeal, and low fat dairy products. People can get a variety of other nutritional health benefits from eating these foods while still burning weight and curbing hunger. Eat heartily and learn to enjoy these food varieties to lose weight and keep pounds off.
